Frequently Asked Questions

How does the koha process work?

Photography is a passion in my life. Something that helps stimulate my mental health and well being. Doing something for me. So because of that pricing I charge by koha.

KOHA:
1. (noun) gift, present, offering, donation, contribution - especially one maintaining social relationships and has connotations of reciprocity.

How? You will pay a non-refundable $100 deposit ($1000 for weddings) to secure your date.

Once we have completed the shoot, I will send you a sneak peak of 5 of your photos. From your sneak peak, you will then decide how much more you are wanting to pay for the remainder of your gallery. Once I have received final payment, I will send you a link to download all of your photos.

How many pictures will we receive?

I like to provide as much photos as I can. So depending on how well the shoot goes, I aim to provide a min of 15 and max of 30.

I will let you know after the shoot before you pay your koha.

We do not feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?

That is absolutely ok! My aim is to help you be as comfortable as possible. In terms of bigger events like weddings, I will always plan a complimentary engagement shoot upon booking to ensure we are comfortable with each other before your big day.

How should we dress for our family session?

Neutral colours are my go to! However, it always looks nice dressing in similar colours as a family and colours that will suit the location. This all can be discussed upon booking.

What is the best time to have a session with a newborn?

Our babies choose what they want to do, how and when. However, if you can, when they are due a nap is the best time to get some photos. The shoot goes smoothly when they are asleep. We will make sure that we get some when they are awake also.
